Last night we had a pretty good meeting. We had a guest member who will hopefully join us for the 2012 season, the Creative Team got some work done on the brochure(It will be completed by Saturday this week!), the Adult Advisory Board had a few discussions, and the build team got some things done on the arm. There are definitely decisions being made, people!
BUT!!! Last night was our 6th meeting... And what do we have to show for it? Not much. I mean really. Six meetings, at one meeting per week, adds up to 42 days that we have had in our pre-season time. Isn't that enough time to email back and forth and come up with some actual decisions? Heck yes it is! So riddle me this... Why don't we have a brochure already? Why don't we have a working arm? Is it the fact that our once-weekly meetings aren't cutting it? Well, we're fixing that. The next meeting is at Jerome's Shop, on Tuesday, October the 4th. Yes, we are finally stepping things up! We will be having two meetings weekly-- Tuesdays and Thursdays. Same time, start at six and go until everyone's wiped out. But... IS THIS ENOUGH? It's not like we have email that we can use that we can use to talk to eachother throughout the week... Oh wait. Yes we do!! Huzzah!! Cheer for joy, robotics teams across the world! We have twenty-first century technology at our disposal. Let's utilize this, shall we?
